Angels reach into every part of the world. They are impartial to religion and beliefs. Even the belief that they do not exist. Angels just don’t care what you believe or think about them. Their job is to help you through this life.
What are angels?
- Supernatural beings
- Beings created by God to serve him
- God created them to be intermediaries/messengers between God and humans. After all, the word angel means messenger.
- A form of energy beings
I think a form of energy beings can encompass the other options, so I’m going to expand on that definition.
Since angels are energy beings, they can show up looking any way you want them to. They appear how you think they should so you can recognize them. Do you want wings? You get wings. You want ones the look like a baby? You get cherubs. Do you want one that is a protector? You get my personal favorite, one that looks like a bad-ass warrior. Sometimes you can physically see them, and sometimes you see them in your mind’s eye. But regardless of how they appear, their purpose is to help you.
When I say they are here to help you, I do not mean that they are your personal flunkies. They are not here to fetch your coffee or pick up dry cleaning. You are not their boss.
With that said, angels are more than happy to become your co-creators. And I think when you become attuned to your angels, they may even nudge someone else to bring you that cup of coffee.
They can also help you with all the things you struggle with, find tedious, or overwhelm you. And they want to help you find a mate, a job you love, the perfect car, and above all, your life purpose.
The caveat to their helping is that you MUST ask for help. The free will thing is part of what rules angels.
Now, some folks seem to have been born with an innate ability to recognize, see, and talk to angels. I think we all have this skill hardwired into our DNA. But if it is not nurtured and used from the get-go, then it goes dormant. Worse yet is when a child shares their skill, and they are made fun of or told they are just make believing. And you know what? That just sucks.
So at this point, you may be asking where can I go or what do I have to do to get an angel? Does Amazon Prime have them? The big answer to that question is nothing. At this moment, they are surrounding you and are just waiting to be engaged. That leads to the next question; how can I start to talk to angels?
How can I communicate with angels?
Engaging and communicating with your angels is easy. The old school way is to grab a pen and paper. Or go to your nearest electronic device. Get comfy and start writing.
Tip: I found it was easier at first to go old school. Using a pen and paper makes you slow down. This option makes it easier to hear your guides. AKA little voices inside your head that are loving.
Start by setting the intention that you wish to speak with your angels. Then write about what you are feeling and what is going on. Basically, start journaling or ranting as I sometimes do. As you write, start asking questions. You will soon find you are writing down answers. Answers that have you saying, oh! that is a good idea! Or you may start writing words that are full of love and compassion for you and others.
Word of caution: You may not like the answer. I’ve had a few that had me swearing. But I took the actions, and it was to my benefit.
If you are dealing with job issues, ask what step you need to take next to improve your situation. You may hear, “look for a new job.” Then ask them to help you with that.
If you are writing about someone who has pissed you off, ask your angels for insight. Ask them to help you forgive the person. Yes, I know the feeling of wanting to whack someone over the head and bury them. But asking your angels for help is a less complicated and healthier way. (And less messy.)
What can angels do for you?
Here are a few topics they can help you with:
- Health
- Relationships
- Careers
- Life purpose
- Homework
- Emotional stuff
- Etc…
After you have this connection going, start asking for guidance without writing it down. Ask for what you need, and then take a few deep breaths. Relax in the knowledge that an answer will come to you.
Tip: I have found that when I’m agitated, emotional, or overwhelmed, I can’t hear the answers. And I forget to ask my angels for help. Just because I’m unable to listen to them does not mean they can’t still help. Just take a one-minute timeout and ask. Now, this tip is one of those “do as I say, and not as I do.” I’m still a work in progress.
The first book that taught me how to contact my angels for guidance was “Angelspeake” by sisters Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold. From this book, I learned about automatic/inspirational writing, which is a form of writing that helps you get out of your head so you can communicate with your angels and spirit guides.
Over the years, Hanny and I have attended many workshops and conferences. At some of these events, we got a chance to dive deeper into angel communication with these teachers:
- Doreen Virtue
- Sonia Choquette
- Sunny Dawn Johnston
We have also come across, via YouTube videos, online courses, and books, two more teachers interested us are Kyle Gray and Diana Cooper.
We think any of the above teachers can teach you how to connect with your angels if you desire to do so.
And who knows? Maybe those voices you hear inside your head are real. Real angels that is! And you just need to learn to talk to them.
Xoxo,
Hanny and Cindy
